The T-Mobile AC1900 router, also known as the Asus RT-AC68U router, has received positive reviews for its range, speed, ease of configuration, and compatibility with Comcast and Spectrum. It is also possible to flash the router with the Asus firmware, but this will not be possible if the T-Mobile firmware is locked. The router can split into a private and open wireless connection, but the guest mode removes private wireless connection once the guest connects. The product comes with no markings to show the hardware version, and some customers have reported that the product did not include all the advertised components, such as the antennas or ethernet cable. The AiMesh feature may be blocked in hardware as reported, which prevents upgrading to the latest Asus firmware.
