The unit does not have the capability to store loops internally. The BOSS DD-500 may not be an ideal choice for people who like to tweak their sound live as it requires substantial adjustments to the patch to create unique delay sounds live. The digital delay pedal can only handle a few reverb patches based on the Tera Echo Mode. Those seeking a more advanced reverb pedal should Consider the RV-500, which is BOSS's dedicated Reverb 500-Series pedal.
