Edelbrock 1406 and performer manifold will it work
Answer: I bought the carb spacer, because I was getting lean fueling when I would turn the engine off, in other words the even though I turned off the key, it would take a few seconds for the engine to come to a rough turn off. After talking with mechanics and other guys at car shows that had the spacer, I learned it was because the engine heated the carburetor to a point that the fuel would continue as fumes. Hum? It Worked. It Worked.

The installation is easy, and the spacer is compatible with Holley 4150-style carbs, Ford 460 engine, Brawler 850 race series, Edelbrock 1406, and Performer manifold. However, some customers had issues with the length of the bolts being too short, needing longer studs to accommodate the adapter. Also, one customer noted that it doesn't fit a 350 Chevy.
