    Answer: Sorry, I do not know the answer. However, reach out to google, local hardware store, a roofer who seals downspouts or your town water department supervisor. I am sure you will receive the name of several products that will work for you.
  • Question: If the outlet opening is 2 1/2” then what diameter of flex hose should be used if you need to purchase a longer length than provided? A 4” flex hose?

    Answer: If you have a way of connecting the 2 1/2” to a 4” it should not be a problem.

    Answer: It expands to about six feet.

    Answer: It's definitely black. No silver at all.

    Answer: It is NOT. It is 'pull out' expandable pipe to about 6 feet. In my application, I redrilled the pipe opening to allow the base be fitted with a 2' PVC hard pipe so I could more easily connect into the existing french drain system I previously installed.
  • Question: Are the dimensions of this 8 inches or 12 inches? The description lists both!

    Answer: It appears to be standard drain plastic. Do not understand why you would want to capture runoff water on the ground for a potable water source.
  • Question: Do I pair with 2 or 2.5 inch flex tubing?

    Answer: The drain package comes with 2' flex tube that extends to about 6 feet. If you need additional length or want to add another input line, 2' is the size. Instead of the flex tubing, I used stiff PVC which required me to use a slightly larger hold saw on the side of the drain box to accept the 2' PVC.

However, it does not come with the 2-inch fitting required to connect the hose, so it may need to be purchased separately.
