What is the ZERO GRAVITY Double Bubble Windscreen designed for?

The ZERO GRAVITY Double Bubble Windscreen is specifically crafted for the 2013-2018 Kawasaki ZX636. Its design enhances aerodynamics while providing optimal protection against wind resistance. This windscreen features a higher profile that effectively reduces buffeting, allowing riders to maintain comfort at higher speeds. Many motorcyclists appreciate this feature during long rides or spirited weekend outings, making it a popular choice for enthusiasts seeking performance upgrades.

How does the Double Bubble design enhance riding experience?

The Double Bubble design incorporates a raised middle section that significantly improves airflow around the rider. This results in reduced wind resistance and a more stable riding experience at various speeds. Riders often notice less fatigue over time, especially on extended journeys, enabling them to focus on the road ahead. Moreover, the stylish look further enhances the aesthetics of the Kawasaki ZX636, making it a dual-purpose upgrade for both performance and appearance.

Is the ZERO GRAVITY windscreen made from high-quality materials?

Yes, the ZERO GRAVITY Double Bubble Windscreen is constructed from durable polycarbonate materials, ensuring both strength and clarity. This choice of material not only provides excellent visibility but also stands up against the wear and tear of outdoor elements. Riders can rely on its resilience in various weather conditions, ensuring that their vision remains clear, which is essential for safety on the road.

How does the installation process of the Double Bubble Windscreen work?

Installation of the ZERO GRAVITY Double Bubble Windscreen is straightforward and typically requires no advanced mechanical skills. The windscreen comes with the necessary mounting hardware that allows for a direct replacement of the stock windscreen. With basic hand tools, such as a screwdriver, riders can enhance their motorcycle's performance swiftly, making it a suitable project for DIY enthusiasts looking to personalize their ride.

Will the windscreen affect my motorcycle's top speed?

Yes, the ZERO GRAVITY Double Bubble Windscreen is designed to reduce wind drag, which can potentially improve your motorcycle's top speed. By streamlining airflow, riders experience less resistance, allowing for smoother acceleration. Many users report feeling a noticeable difference when reaching higher speeds, particularly during racing or performance riding, thus enhancing the overall thrill of riding a Kawasaki ZX636.

Is the windscreen compatible with aftermarket handlebars?

The ZERO GRAVITY Double Bubble Windscreen maintains compatibility with many aftermarket handlebars, but checking your specific setup is recommended. As some handlebars may alter positioning, ensuring that the windscreen aligns properly with your motorcycle's body is crucial. Riders often customize their bikes with different handlebars, and the windscreen's design accommodates a range of adjustments, maintaining performance without compromising style.

Does the windscreen come with a protective coating?

Yes, the ZERO GRAVITY Double Bubble Windscreen is typically treated with a scratch-resistant coating to enhance durability. This feature is particularly beneficial for preserving clarity and aesthetics over time, protecting against minor abrasions that can occur from road debris. Regular users of the ZX636 appreciate this added layer of protection, as it ensures their ride looks great while providing functional advantages in visibility.

Can I clean the ZERO GRAVITY windscreen normally?

Absolutely, regular cleaning is recommended to maintain the clarity of the ZERO GRAVITY Double Bubble Windscreen. The use of non-abrasive cleaners and microfiber cloths ensures that the protective coatings remain intact. This routine will help prevent scratches and clouding, securing optimal visibility for riding. Riders often find that keeping the windscreen clean enhances their overall experience, especially during long rides when visibility is key.

Does the windscreen come in different tints?

The ZERO GRAVITY Double Bubble Windscreen is predominantly offered in a clear version, designed for maximum visibility while maintaining an aerodynamic profile. However, some models or versions may feature tinted options for those who prefer a bit of a style upgrade or additional sun protection.
