The Scangle SGT88IV thermal printer is generally well received and compatible with various POS systems including Clover. The printer does not use a ribbon and requires only thermal roll paper. Beeping after each print can be adjusted by changing the settings. The printer does not work with Square. The ethernet version does not have an LED light indicator but shows a light on the LAN port.
