  • Question: Why choose this over the stanley (stht55134) fubar demolition bar?

    Answer: The VersaTAC is smaller and lighter than the FUBAR. It's also very sharp out of the box. If you intend on heavy demo, buy the FUBAR. If you need something smaller, handy, sharp and light, buy the VersaTAC.
  • Question: How wide is the blade?

    Answer: Across the tip, maybe 1 1/2 inch or so. Blade is about 4 inches long, effective cutting surface 2-3 inches. Not a long tool for leverage, but light and fast.
  • Question: Anyone try using it as a dive knife?

    Answer: I think it has too many sharp points and angles and not something for saltwater.
  • Question: Has the sheath been improved?

    Answer: I couldn't tell if the sheath is different.
  • Question: What thickness is that metal?

    Answer: 1/8 inch. Just under 4mm. That's just the metal, not the added grip width.
  • Question: Is there a bulk discount if I buy 10 of them?

  • Question: Am I the only one that thinks having a blade on the part of the handle that gives the most leverage is a bad idea?

    Answer: The blade is separated from the handle by a significant protrusion, like most knives on the market. It is a multi-use tool, and the pry end is for small nails, trim, etc. I have had no issues with it.
