The Kore Aviation Premium headset is a good value for student pilots who don't want to spend a lot on a headset. The passive noise reduction works well, but the fit and comfort are not as good as more high-end models like the David Clark. The material on the ear cushion can be uncomfortable, but purchasing covers solved the problem. The headset has an AUX input for any audio source in addition to the aircraft plugs. Some reviewers had issues with the ear pads coming loose during flight. Overall, the Kore Aviation Premium headset is a good entry-level option for those on a budget.
