The kit comes in a factory box with each part separately packaged in plastic, giving an overall good appearance. However, the one-sheet installation instruction is not very helpful, and you'll have to figure out how to use it in your build yourself. The bed frame is Constructed using heavy 2x6 frames which make putting it up and down very easy. The kit will allow for variations in design to fit the bed in the available space, and it can only be used in a horizontal configuration. The product works well with light bed frames and relatively thin mattresses, but it doesn't seem to withstand bulkier or heavier ones.
