The wire feed tip is permanently wired to the negative lug and flux core cannot be used with negative ground. Users can find Consumables on the website or at local welding supplies. A foot pedal cannot be added and the machine cannot weld aluminum but AC tig is best for thinner aluminum and Mig with argon can handle above 18 gauge Al. Depend on usage, flux core DC tig can do aluminum but with subpar welds. The unit is made in China. However, one reviewer received a defective unit and another did not receive all the necessary parts. Overall, users are satisfied with the efficacy of the unit for its price point.
