Answer: Typical Merv rating for the HEPA filters ranges from 17 to 20. There is no mirv listed on this box likely because they're not required to list Merv in China. -

Answer: I am not sure what the Merv rating is. I purchased these as the Honeywell filters are very pricey. You get 4 Pre filters and 3 Hepa Filters. They capture most small particles down to 0.3 microns in size. We have a lot of animals, 4 dogs and 3 cats. You cant even tell we have animals, they work that good. These are awesome filters. They last a long time as well. I feel they work as well as the Honeywell filters. They remove Pollen, Mold, Bacteria, chemical vapors, microbes, odor, dust, small particles, pet dander and smoke. Definitely worth the money. I will personally buy again. -

Answer: Fits just like the original that cost 30% more . The thinner primary filter is a bit more flimsy but still worth the price. -

Prefilter left black dust in my hands after taking it out from box. Is that expected?
Answer: Haven’t noticed any dust from mine and have changed it several times. Could be that it’s a charcoal filter.
