The Vertx Gamut 2.0 backpack is Constructed with Cordura and nylon webbing, and weighs roughly three pounds empty. It does not have an internal frame and is not waterproof, but repellent can be used on it. It features a fold open top with pockets, removable laptop sleeve, and various compartments and pockets for everyday carry items. The bag is of great Construction and offers functionality while maintaining a low profile. Customers have successfully added two large overflow pouches inside the bag, but exterior mounting would require MOLLE attachments. The bag is excellent for everyday use, but the side pockets are not ideal for storage due to the side zippers often becoming undone. The water bottle pockets are stretchy mesh, but can get tight if side pockets are loaded. The bag is great for those who want to carry their EDC items and small guns, but it may not be the right choice for shorter/smaller people. The front panel is limiting in terms of space, which can be improved by extending the main pocket an inch and the outer pocket half an inch deeper. The synthetic grab handle, fold open top, and pockets are the favorite features of customers, making this backpack well worth the money.
