The Rigol DS1104Z-S Plus is a powerful oscilloscope that can do practically anything at a fraction of the cost of older scopes. The 200MHz bandwidth is impressive, and the scope has a quality build with no wiggly knobs. The plastic body is nicely molded, buttons and knobs are smooth, and the included probes are nice. The display is big and bright, while the legends are very tiny, but you can enlarge the font on many of them. The scope has built-in help for just about every function and deep storage, big screen, print screen, and a variety of functions are included as well. The flexible operation offers dozens of measurement about the signal, making it easier to figure out the p-p or the rms, and also displays the frequency of the signal. The only notable downside is the small multifunction knob that is too sensitive, while some functions are way down in the menus.
