How many fasteners come in a package of TimberTech Collated Cortex?

Each package of TimberTech Collated Cortex Fasteners is designed to cover approximately 100 square feet of decking area. Depending on the specific requirements of your project and the spacing of your fasteners, you can expect to receive enough plugs and screws to complete a significant deck installation. This volume ensures you have a reliable stock when working on extensive outdoor areas.

Are TimberTech Collated Cortex Fasteners compatible with all decking materials?

TimberTech Collated Cortex Fasteners are optimized for use with TimberTech decking products, particularly the Boardwalk series. While they may work with other composite and PVC decking materials, it's crucial to verify compatibility to ensure proper installation and performance. This compatibility assurance helps in achieving the best results and longevity for your decking project.

What is the installation process for TimberTech Collated Cortex Fasteners?

To install TimberTech Collated Cortex Fasteners, you should use a designated installation tool that drives the screws into the joists and allows for hidden plug placement. The process involves drilling the screws at specific intervals and then inserting the plugs for a seamless finish. Proper alignment and spacing according to manufacturer guidelines will ensure a secure deck that withstands foot traffic and weather conditions.

Can TimberTech Collated Cortex Fasteners be removed or adjusted once installed?

Yes, TimberTech Collated Cortex Fasteners can be removed if necessary, though care should be taken to avoid damaging the decking.
