The feeder is recommended for use with 3 1/2 inch chlorine tablets and features a backflow preventer inside the exit elbow. However, users will need to clean out the backflow preventer occasionally when it clogs up. It is not recommended to use muriatic acid with this feeder, as it could cause injury from vaporised exposure. Installation of the unit is complete with tubing and valves. The feeder tower can deliver the right amount of chlorine to the pool with very little adjustment and works with variable speed pumps at around 2000 rpm.
