The Coast flashlight can be charged with a standard USB A cable and any C adapter can also work. The package includes a double A battery pack that you can put in rechargeable batteries. It remembers the last brightness setting used, but defaults when the button is accidentally pushed. It can run in turbo mode for a short time to protect against overheating. The torch can also take non-rechargeable lithium batteries. The lithium-ion battery can be charged in and out of the flashlight. The AA batteries can only be charged outside of the flashlight.
