Equipped with the ability to test CAT 5e and CAT 6/6A cables, the LAN Scout Jr.
2 Cable Tester ensures the continuity of data connections. It can also detect Open, Short, Miswire, or Split-Pair faults, as well as Shield problems. With its larger backlit display, reading test results in low-lit areas is effortless. This cable tester goes beyond testing and includes a tone generator with multiple tone frequencies.
This feature allows you to easily trace cables in complex network setups. Please note that the tone generator requires a probe (Cat. No.
VDV500-123) which is sold separately. Designed with ease of use in mind, the LAN Scout Jr. 2 Cable Tester features an intuitive user interface with three buttons. Its soft, slip-resistant, and rugged overmold ensures a comfortable grip and enhanced durability.
