Will it work from a satellite dish?
Answer: No, it won't. It's Freeview, not Freesat. It works off a TV antenna, not a satellite dish. -

What’s the best size USB stick for recording from this unit?
Answer: I don’t use a stick, I record onto a hard drive recorder. -
Question:
Can you watch a program and record a program at the same time?
Answer: If you are using the set-top box as your only form of Freeview, you can only watch the program that is being recorded. However, by routing the aerial through the set-top box into a TV with its own Freeview, you can record and watch other programs at the same time. -
Question:
Are the recordings in MP4 with good quality pictures? Can you watch one channel and record another?
Answer: We could not get it to work. -
Question:
Can you watch movies from your phone if you put a USB lead in the box?
Answer: No, the unit only records in MTS/AVCHD format. -
Question:
Does this unit have a remote?
Answer: Yes, it has a remote with a record function, as long as you have a memory card or USB stick to record on. -

Would this enable an old VHS VCR to show its VCR setup menu/blue screen on the TV?
Answer: No, because your old VHS is analog and the set-top box is digital. -

Do I need the instruction manual?
Answer: It's plug and play. You shouldn't need the manual. -

Answer: I believe it uses MT2S format, which is similar but not the same as MOG.
